LIVING IN NEW APARTMENT
High-rise quality apartments are usually located in downtown expatriates' living community, such as Jing-an, LuJiaZui, and XuHui areas. They are often conveniently near Metro stations and bustling commercial neighborhoods. Most of the apartments have their own club houses (gyms and pools), 24 security and professional property management services.
Apartment size typically ranges from 100 m² to 300 m². Depending on the building quality, clubhouse facilities, management service, size and location of the new apartments, renting a new apartment can cost from US$1,000 to US$8,000 a month. However, the rental price for some other local new apartments in suburban area may cost only about US$450 to US$1,300 (RMB3,000 to RMB8,000) a month.
