Nestled in the west part of the old French Concession, Luwan District is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Shanghai that retains much of its original architecture.  Large shady trees line the promenade along Huaihai Road and Ruijin Road, and Shanghai's residents pack the streets on weekends to window shop and people watch in cafes.

Xintiandi community. Conveniently located to the Central Business District office towers and famous outdoor shopping mall, XinTianDi, this area attracts both foreigners and locals to its luxury apartments, town houses and renovated lane houses.

Ruijin Road community.  Built around the historic Ruijin Guest House, that once housed Mao Ze Dong and the Communist party heads, this beautiful neighborhood offers a quiet escape from the city's noise, while still providing an abundance of shopping, dining, and transportation amenities.
